Does level drain cause death? I ask because my level 11 barbarian was fighting off about nine wrights with the help of Slice M. I know I was subjected to the level drain attacks, but ended up a corpse in the Fugue. Never had this issue when playing before so I don't know if it is normal for level drain to be deadly.
If you are drained to 0 (zero) levels you are infact DEAD.
This happened to another player "Barr" just last night. He got jumped by several wights that drained him to death.
So for those that don't know.
- Level drain to level 0 will kill you
- Constitution drain to 0 will kill you
- hit points to 0 (actually -10) kills you
- Death spells kill you if you fail your saveing throw
- perification is permanent (though it doesn't actually kill you)
This is certainly good information to know. I did not know about the constitution drop causing death as well. If turned to stone, will the character have the option to go to the fugue or is the character stuck until somebody with stone to flesh rescues him/her?
With petrification, the character is stuck. Your best hope is that creatures still beat on you if you are solo. Its kind of funny, there is actually something that can be worse than death in the right situation. At least if someone can return you to flesh you don't lose xp. Aslo currently a server reset won't remember you are a statue, so you would return to normal after a reset.
