The file can be downloaded from our Downloads section or by CLICKING HERE . The server is located under "PW Action".
A .pwc file is required in order to play on any NWN2 online server. Each .pwc file is unique to its server, so to play on Balarand you must download this file.
Steps to logging into to a NWN2 Server
1. Server Details - Check the server details on game spy. This will tell you the servers website information. Some server have direct links to their site and file. The direct links are unfortunately bugged at the moment and don't work for all servers, so look for the website under the description or server name.
2. Server Website - Visit the website and locate the information needed to download the servers required files.
3. Download files - Download the servers required files and make sure they are unzipped and place in the correct folder on your computer. These files usually go in your MyDocuments/Neverwinter Nights 2/pwc folder. Other files might be required so make sure those are correct also.
4. Loggin and Play - Once your required files are in the correct place you should be able to log in and Play. Have fun!

NWN2 Expansion - Mask of the Betrayer (MotB)
If you don't have XP1 The Mask of the Betrayer expansion pack you will still be able to log in and start playing, but you will need to install the expansion in order to have full functionality within the world. The expansion gives us a lot of new things to be able to build with and play with: creatures, tilesets, items, spells, races, classes, and more. The gaming experience is much better with it. The single player experience is also worth the purchase.
NWN2 Expansion - Storm of Zehir (SoZ)
XP2 Storm of Zehir is set to be release at the end of this month Nov.08 . Save up or put it on your Christmas list. I do plan to add this expansion to the server, again these expansion packs just give us much more to work and play with. This pack will not be required right away but by the time Christmas comes around there will be content used within the world that will require this expansion.

jerajames : No Worry, Grunner & Astyra is still play Balarand, I've talked asking them to continue and I've gaven fist of death +2 (sonice +2) for monk, I found loot long time ago and I am trying to encourage players to work on level and fight mission.. My understand low reward items and low reward for heal potion needed to gain loot while long trips.
